Day 1 : Arrival in Cairo - Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs
You will be assisted at the Cairo International Airport upon your arrival. One of our representatives will be waiting for you and escort you on a private vehicle to your hotel. Once at the hotel, your tour manager will help you with the check-in and discuss your itinerary. Feel free to ask any questions at this point. After that, enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.
Day 2 : Pyramids and Sakkara Tour
Breakfast then move to start your blissful day kicking off with the Step Pyramid at Sakkara which was designed by the architect, Imhotep for his master King Zoser. After that, move to visit the enchanting pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus at Giza. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dates back to the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramid of Chephren.
Day 3 : Cairo Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will be escorted by your a private guide to visit the Egyptian Museum where there are many fascinating artifacts. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Jewish Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4 : Arrival in Jordan
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Amman. Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, our representative will meet and assist you through the customs and immigration procedures. Transfer to the Hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 5 : Madaba - Dead Sea
After breakfast drive to Mount Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and his alleged burial place. You will visit the Old Monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho, and Jerusalem. Proceed to Madaba, where you will find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s Church. Afterward we drive to the Dead Sea. Being the lowest point on earth and filled with a variety of minerals with medicinal properties the site has developed into a health spa-like hotspot. The mineral concentration in the mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. Queen Cleopatra and Sheba both were said to have known the value of the site and used it. Due to high salinity the water supports no form of life hence the name the Dead Sea and floating is very easy. Be sure to prepare to swim and relax in the mud before heading back to Amman.
Day 6 : Ancient City of Petra
Our diver will pick you up and drive about 2.5 hours to the Rose Red City of Petra, Jordan’s largest attraction. First started in the 6 th century B.C. by Nabataean Arabs, the city boasts beautiful facades carved directly into the walls of the mountain sides. Arriving at the visitor’s center it’s a 700 meter walk to the Siq entrance which is an impressive 1200 meter long gorge of a kaleidoscope of colors that towers more than 80 meters above you. As you exit the chasm you’re instantly transfixed by the beauty of Petra, chosen as one of the New World Wonders, the place speaks for itself. After your time at Petra you make your way back through the Siq before returning to Amman.
Day 7 : Farewell Jordan
After breakfast you will be transferred to Queen Alia Airport for your final departure.
