From beautiful architecture to impressive museums and galleries, Graz offers a good number of things to see and do. 

The ruins of the Gosting Castle take visitors back in time. A hike up to the Schlossberg is one of the best things that visitors can do. The Eggenberg Castle is a wonderful example of Baroque architecture and features a number of museums and exhibits worth seeing. The Clock Tower is one of the prominent sites in Graz. The Joanneum Museum of Styria and other museums like Folk Life Museum, House of Architecture and the Diocese Museum are also good places to visit.

Graz is a great place for shopping lovers too. There are several good places to shop like Herrengasse, Mariahilferstrabe, City Park, Steirerhof, Shopping City Seiersberg, Murpark, Shopping Center West, etc.

Graz is served by the Graz Airport, which is located about 9Km from the city center. From the airport visitors can take taxis, buses or trains to reach the city. A one-way taxi ride from the airport to the city can cost between 20-25 Euros. Buses usually take 20 minutes to travel from the airport to the city center and cost around 2 Euros. There is a train station located at a 5 minutes walking distance from the airport; trains are available from there to the Graz Hauptbahnhof.
