Description

Dammam is the biggest city in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It is the third largest city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is a part of the Triplet Cities of Dammam, Dhahran and Al Khobar. The city offers excellent connectivity to all other parts of Saudi Arabia and the rest of GCC. The Dammam Corniche is the main attraction of the city. It is a green strip that overlooks the gulf and is 4 Km in length. The area is often visited by locals to spend a wonderful time.
The Al MorjanIsland is an artificial island with a monument located in the center. The Al Morjan Island is a wonderful place to enjoy a refreshing afternoon walk. A main landmark in the city is the flagpole which rises to 60 meters in height. The Al-Karia Ash-Sha'abia museum and restaurant also makes a good place to visit and get to know more about the culture of Saudi Arabia. Other places of interest in Dammam include the Half Moon Beach, King Fahad Park, King Abdul Aziz Seaport, etc.
Dammam also offers an enjoyable shopping scene. There are several shopping malls in the city where visitors can find various stores selling local and international brands. Some of the best shopping malls in Dammam include Green Shopping Centre, Al Danah Mall, Al Bilad Mall, Al Shatea Mall,Al Othaim Mall and Al Waha Mall.

Nearby Airports

The city of Dammam is served by the King Fahd International Airport located around 50 Km from the city center. The King Fahd International Airport is huge and as per area it is counted among the largest airports in the world. There are regular buses available from the airport to the city. These buses leave every hour and a one-way ticket costs around SR 12. Taxis are also available from the airport and cost around SR 50.
