The hometown of Toyota, Nagoya is a beautiful city located between Tokyo and Kyoto. The city features its own taste and has a thriving cultural life. The city has a wide range of museums especially art museums like theNagoya/Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art and the Nagoya City Art Museum. The Nagoya Castle is the main landmark in the city and visitors can take a complete view of the castle and the exhibition rooms. 

The Port of Nagoya Aquarium is an excellent place to see different marine life and environments. The city also has numerous gardens and parks where visitors can see greenery and blooming flowers. Some of the best parks to visit in Nagoya are the Shirakawa Park and the Hisaya-Odori Par. From the Nagoya TV Tower visitors can get a complete view of the city. 

Nagoya is an excellent destination for shopping. The Osu Shopping Arcade is one of the best places to shop in the city. The Sakae area located close to the Nagoya Station has several shops, shopping malls and department stores. There are also several electronic stores around the Nagoya Station.

Nearby Airports

The main airport serving Nagoya is the Chubu Centrair International Airport. The airport is the third major international airport in Japan and is located about 30 minutes south of the city. The airport is placed on an artificial island and is conveniently connected to the city center by the Meitetsu Airport Line. A train ride takes half an hour to reach the city center and a one-way ticket costs 1200 Yen.

There is also a local airport at Nagoya, the Nagoya Airport or the Komaki Airport. Some domestic flights stop at this airport. Shuttle buses are available from the Nagoya Airport to the Nagoya Station. A one-way ticket on the shuttle bus costs 700 Yen
