Victoria is a picture-perfect city located in British Columbia and is also the capital of the province. Featuring beautiful gardens and parks, Victoria is a great place to have fun and enjoy the wonders of the nature. The city is located along the harbor and has numerous green spaces and well-maintained gardens. The Beacon Hill Park and the Butchart Gardens attract several visitors. The city has been named as the Garden City because of the beautiful gardens that are dotted around the area.

There are also some good museums in the city, the Royal British Columbia Museum and the British Columbia Aviation Museum. The Royal British Columbia Museum has some of the most impressive artifacts. The museum details the history of the area. The Miniature World is another interesting place to visit; it features miniature models of landscapes and cities. The Victoria Bug Zoo is also quite good to visit. There are several walking and biking trails around the city, the most popular being the Galloping Goose Trail. The Inner Harbor is an excellent place to walk around and enjoy nature.

There are numerous small shops dotted around Victoria. Around the Inner harbor visitors can find several souvenir shops. The Government Street, Fort Street and the Fan Tan Alley in Chinatown are quite good to shop around for different items.

Nearby Airports

Victoria is served by the Victoria International Airport located about 30 minutes from Victoria. There is a shuttle bus available from the airport to the city. The journey takes about 45 minutes and costs $15 per person.

There is also a convenient way of travelling to Victoria. There are helicopters available from Vancouver that flies visitors to the city.
