Our trip today started after we had our breakfast at the hotel. Our first destination was the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. As we arrived there, we took our first tour of the miniature or replica version of one the cultural icons in Indonesia - which is the Ranah Minang.
We then headed to the Anjungan Papua. We rode the cable car from which we were able to see the whole of the miniature from above. My favourite place that we visited today at the Taman Mini was the Anjungan Jawa Tengah because that is where my ancestors are from. Yaiy!
We took a stop for our prayer at the Istiqlal Mosque, which we never got the chance to enter yesterday. The thing about the mosque is, it's just on the outside, but even the interior is so majestic.
After we were done with our prayers, we headed to Monas Tower - the monument of Jakarta. But sadly, we couldn't enter the tower because it was already closed. We were just able to take some photos of it, which was still awesome.
We then headed to Thamrin City for some shopping time! This place is
the best place for an excellent shopping experience because it is a lot cheaper than most other malls in Jakarta.
Last but not least, we ate dinner at Restoran Sederhana before heading back to the hotel where we called it a night.
