Day 4 in Bintan with Malaque!

Oh how time flies! It is already our last day here in Bintan! I was very excited knowing that we would go for site inspection at Banyan Tree Bintan! I have heard lotsa reviews about Banyan Tree Villas here in Bintan. True enough we were blown away!

We went to see Angsana Bintan first before going to Banyan. Angsana is under the wing of Banyan Tree Bintan as well. Spacious rooms and the family suite is just huge!! We got to see the suite that was facing the pool and then the beach!! Of course, we went straight to the beach and oh my! It was just like our first day here in Bintan! Blue sky, clear waters. The private beach of Angsana and Banyan Tree is really something! The white luscious sand, the rocks, the numorous coconut trees that surrounds it is just too picture perfect!

We went to see some turtles over at the wildlife conservation lab. Such a great initiative by Angsana Bintan! They actually conduct seasonal turtle release and even coral replanting that guests can participate in. Oh yes, one of us ask whether there are wild animals creeping around these areas as Angsana REALLY looks like a legit island and guess what! Yup u can occasionally find snakes etc around the area but not to worry these animals they dont bother you and there's professional team to take care of these. And then, the lady actually showed the rest a dead snake they found on display! I did not see it of course!! Too timid for all these!

Next I dropped selma off at the kidz club with her father. Bigger kids (3 years and above) are seen doing activities such as painting and colouring. I must say the kids club smells of lavender and other yummy essential oils! So therapeutic surprisingly just like the Angsana Spa itself. Selma settled down in there and then I went to check out the spa with the rest! They first brought us to the Angsana Gallery and thats when i thought why is the spa so small and made up mostly of retail corner? Hmmm.. where could the spa be? So one of the therapists brought us upstairs where it was like outdoor maze and it looks like one of those Bali villas! And that was the spa rooms! Impressive! The view of some rooms were also overlooking the pool/seas. The Angsana Gallery too had quite a few in house retail products such as soaps, perfumes, lotions etc made with their special blend of essential oils.

We then proceeded to Banyan Tree. Our guide Tom did a brief on the map of the whole Banyan Tree Bintan and guess what! Other than having just villas, Banyan also has spa villas and a yoga villa so yogis, plan your next retreat here!

We were blown away by the gorgeous villas of Banyan! The villas have a magnificent view of the South China Sea! Bigger families fret not, there is also a two bedroom in lnfinity villa which has a gorgeous open air relaxation pool right smack in the middle of the villa!

I must say though Banyan compared to Angsana has a more romantic vibe to it. So honeymoon people yup thats right, you should totally consider this as ur honeymoon destination! Ah scratch that, I think I'm gonna bug Syarif to come here for our anniversary too!

We had lunch back at Angsana in Lotus Restaurant and I had a pretty awesome tomyam and fresh orange/ lime juice!! The restaurant had a great influence of vietnam/thai cusine.

Before we knew it , our bus came and it was time to go to the ferry terminal! The short 45 mins ferry ride was slightly different this time round as selma cried towards the last part.. hmmm probably she doesn't want to leave Bintan yet. It's okay babygirl, we will definitely be back here okay!
