This comprehensive Bucharest City Tour takes you through the city’s past and recent history, with all relevant monuments and sights. The tour is a combined walking and sightseeing tour, with a walk-around downtown and transfers by car. Breakfast at Hotel And check out and depart to Brasov.
Enjoy full day Tour of Transylvania with Bran Castle, a Gothic fortress associated with the legend of Dracula.
After the Tour Check in at your hotel in Brasov City.

    Highlights of the Tour

Early departure from Bucharest heading to Sinaia, popular mountainresort in the Carpathian Mountains, two hours drive north of Bucharest. Visit Peles Castle in Sinaia, favorite residence of Carol I, the first King of Romania. View its interiors complete with original furniture and intricate decor. The romantic castle, terraced gardens and the surrounding mountain scenery provide plenty of photo opportunities. We may take our time to sit on the terrace of the Peles Café and enjoy a drink while admiring the views of the Castle and mountains.

Back to the car to resumeour tour to Bran. We pass the scenic Alpine Carpathians with its popular resort of Busteni. En route, stop for lunch at a traditional local restaurant then cross into Transylvania to Bran Castle, the 14th century fortress famous for the tale of Dracula.

Explore Bran Castle with its twisting passages and staircases of the castle to learn about Prince Vlad Dracula, one of the most fascinating characters in Romanian history who inspired Bram Stoker’s character Count Dracula.
The tour continues to the Saxon medieval town of Brasov. Stop over for a short stroll around the Council Square, the main square of the Old Town. We may have are freshing drink at one of the outdoor terraces.

Day 4 : Day 4

Day 4    BRASOV - VELIKO TARNOVO (Bulgaria)   

Morning check out and depart for Bulgaria.
On Arrival check in at hotel and freshen up.
Evening, meet the local tour guide and depart to explore the City;
Later assemble for Dinner and Overnight.

Meet your guide and drive to the charming museum village of Arbanassi. Walk through this beautiful museum village with fortress-like houses and interesting churches. Visit the 15th century church of the Nativity and Konstantsaliev’s house, an 18th century architectural masterpiece.

The capital of mediaeval Bulgaria, Veliko Tarnovois one of the most picturesque historical settlements. Located on the hills above the meandering river Yantra, this city, once a glorious mediaeval capital (1186 – 1393), now attracts thousands of romantic travellers with its irresistible ambience. The city is the second most important University City after Sofia, mixing the legends of the past with bursting energy  and enthusiasm of hundreds of young students.

Start exploring the city with the Tzarevets Royal hill. A guide can tell you more than any of the thick books will. Then go to the Samovodska market place, with its narrow cobbled streets, where every stone tells a story. The neighbouring Arbanassi museum village is a genuine gallery of art. Apart from a gorgeous view over the city of Veliko Tarnovo, there are several musts here: the 15th century Church of the Nativity, the house of Konstantsaliev and the house of HadziIliev are fortress-like stone buildings, excellent examples of the 18th century architecture at its height.

Day 5    VELIKO TARNOVO – SOFIA   

Morning check out and depart to Sofia.
On Arrival Check in at hotel and freshen up.
Afternoon meet the local tour guide and depart for City Tour.

Bulgaria’s capital city is among the youngest capitals, yet one of the oldest cities in Europe. The late Antiquity basillica “St. Sophia”, dedicated to Divine Wisdom, gave the city its name. Constantine the Great had a palace here and loved to say: “My Rome isSerdica”. (That was the city’s name in the 4 c. A.D.) Your city tour will be a pleasant and enlightening travel back in time. Day 6    SOFIA – VITOSHA MOUNTAIN

Morning Enjoy the Sightseeing City Tour followed by Excursion to Mt Vitosha.
Evening return to Sofia and Free time for your own Leisure and Shopping.

Optional Activity: A night tour to a folk-style restaurant, where you can taste traditional Bulgarian cuisine and Soft Drinks, and enjoy the folklore show.

       Highlights of the Tour

Today proceeds with panoramic sightseeing of the National Library, Sofia University, Borissova Garden, and the National Palace of Culture. Drive to Vitosha Mountain - Sofia’s outstanding natural landmark. With its highest peak – Cherni Vrah (Black Peak altitude 2285m), pine forests, alpine meadows and colourful moraines, it has become an integral part of Sofia. Vitosha is invaded every Sunday by hikers in summer and skiers in winter. You will admire the views and enjoy the fresh clear mountain air while taking a short walk in the forest.
