An action packed day 3 features the Sultan's Palace, Taman Sari water castle, Soko Tunggal mosque, Great Kauman mosque and Kotagede mosque. Day 1 : Arrive in Yogyakarta
Arrival at Jogjakarta Airport, meeting service with our guide, Lunch at halal local restaurant. Enjoy nature at Hutan Pinus Becici (Pine forest). Next visit 'hobbit house' which is inspired from Lord of the Rings books/cinema. Dinner at halal local restaurant.
Day 2 : Yogyakarta - Borobudur - Yogyakarta
Breakfast at hotel, Morning visit to the Buddhist temple Borobudur known as the one of seven wonders in the world. Lunch at Halal local restaurant. Back to Jogjakarta city and then continued to Kaliadem Resort to view Mount Merapi closer, Merapi Lava Museum and also see the village that destroyed by Merapi Volcano during eruption in 2010. Visit one of the Pathok Negara mosque in Ploso Kuning village (built in 1810). Pathok Negoro area is a special area which designed by Yogyakarta Sultanate as centers of development of Islam. Yogyakarta sultanate – Ngayogyakartahadiningrat Kingdom is one of the largest Islamic Kingdom in Indonesia, as well as development centers of Islam. Dinner at halal local restaurant.
Day 3 : Yogyakarta - Taman Sari Castle and Mosque Visits
Breakfast at hotel. Morning Jogja city sightseeing, visit the Sultan's Palace, known as Kraton and Taman Sari water castle. Taman Sari is a site of a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. Next visit Soko Tunggal mosque, It is unique in that it is supported by only one pillar. Mosques usually have four pillars to support the building. This mosque was built in 1972 as a community initiative as a place of worship for the local community living in the area. Lunch at halal local restaurant. Next visit Kauman Great Mosque or Mesjid Gedhe Kauman. Built during the Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I (built in 1773) by an architect named K. Wiryokusumo. But unlike other mosques, this mosque has a building called pagongan, which is usually used as a place to put the gamelan at the time of sekaten. Sekaten is a ceremony to commemorate a date of birth Nabi Muhammad SAW. Drive to Kotagede and visit Batik home industry, and the village of Silversmith in Kotagede. If time permits, also visit Kotagede mosque (built in 1640) is one of the oldest mosque in Yogyakarta. Dinner at halal local restaurant.
Day 4 : Departure from yogyakarta
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Jogjakarta Airport for departure.
