Day 1 : Arrival in Indonesia

Arrival at the new Kuala Namu International Airport, Medan. Upon your arrival, our guide will be waiting for you. Next, we will go to Bukit Lawang and make stops to the rubber, palm oil, and crocodile farm.

Day 2 : Trekking Trip

Today after breakfast, we will start our trekking to the jungle to explore the nature of Gunung Leuser National Park and see the orangutan of Sumatra in the wild. After a further trekking further into the jungle (around 3 hours), we return to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon will be for you and you can take advantage to enjoy the nature of Bukit Lawang or go visit the town. Includes lunch and dinner.

Day 3 : Trekking Trip 2.0

After breakfast, continue trekking, today is full day walking and explore the tropical rain forest with their wild life living in their natural habitat. Afternoon, return to Bukit Lawang and have lunch. Night stay at Bukit Lawang Cottage. 

Day 4 : A Taste of Culture

After breakfast drive to Parapat, on the way, visit Batak Karo traditional village in Dokan, Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long House) the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung to see the view of Lake Toba. Upon arrival at Parapat, cross to Samosir Island by ferry boat. Arrive at Samosir and check in to hotel.

Day 5 : Excursion to Samosir

After breakfast, take an excursion on Lake Toba by car or Ferry boat. Visit several interesting Batak Toba traditional villages, Tomok (to see the old Tomb of Sidabutar Kings), Ambarita (to see stone chair and table once used as an execution place of Siallagantribal chieftains), Simanindo (to see Batak folklore dance and museum). Return back to the hotel.

Day 6 : Farewell Indonesia

After breakfast, drive to Medan via Sibolangit and Sembahe (takes approx 4 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Jakarta or Yogyakarta.
