Day 1 : Arrival and transfer to Dambulla

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your driver and transferred to Dambulla.

Enroute, visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage to see orphaned and injured elephants cared for by volunteers.

Explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, Sri Lanka’s most iconic cave temple dating back to the 1st century BCE, featuring colorful religious paintings and ancient statues of Buddha and bodhisattvas inside five stunning caves.

Day 2 : Sigiriya & Kandy

After breakfast, visit the iconic Sigiriya (Lion Rock), an ancient palace perched on a dramatic rocky outcrop. Climb to the top for stunning views and fascinating stories of the ancient civilization that once thrived here.

Proceed to Kandy, stopping en route at a spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka's rich spice heritage.

After that proceed to Kandy.

In Kandy, visit the Royal Botanical Garden, take a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake, and explore the Gem Museum to discover the country's famed precious stones. End the day with a vibrant traditional cultural dance. show.

Day 3 : Highland Escapades in Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route at Ramboda Falls, a breathtaking 109-meter-high waterfall formed by the Panna Oya River.

Enjoy the views of this multi-tiered cascade before continuing your journey.

On arrival in Nuwara Eliya, explore the town’s main attractions, including the lush Victoria Park, the scenic Lake Gregory for boating or fishing, and the famous Nuwara Eliya Golf Course.

Visit a local tea factory to see how some of the world's finest Orange Pekoe tea is produced.

Optionally, explore Haggala Botanical Gardens, where you can admire serene lotus and water lilies in a beautiful hill-country setting.

Day 4 : Enchanting Ella Journey

After breakfast, depart for Ella.

Your adventure begins with a scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya, winding through lush green hills and tea plantations.

Traveling in 3rd class offers a truly authentic experience, showcasing breathtaking landscapes that whiz past your window.

Upon arrival at Ella station, your driver will greet you at the platform and escort you to your hotel.

Explore the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, a stunning piece of architecture built in 1921 during the British colonial period. This impressive bridge, nestled between Ella and Demodara stations, is a must-see.

Visit Ravana Falls, a spectacular 25-meter-high waterfall cascading over a concave rock outcrop. During the wet season, the falls resemble the petals of an areca flower in bloom.

Day 5 : Coastal Charms: Mirissa to Bentota

After breakfast, proceed to Bentota via Mirissa.

Begin your journey with a visit to Coconut Tree Hill, one of Mirissa’s most Instagrammable spots, offering panoramic views of the ocean framed by swaying palm trees.

Continue to Galle, a charming coastal city rich in history and culture. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Galle was once a thriving trading port. Explore the historic Galle Fort, a magnificent blend of Dutch-colonial architecture, ancient mosques, churches, and grand mansions. Wander through the fort’s cobblestone streets, now home to vibrant shops, cafes, and restaurants, all set against a backdrop of stunning ocean views.

After exploring Galle, continue to Bentota and check in to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing on the golden beaches of this beautiful coastal town.

Day 6 : Blissful Bentota

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day soaking up the sun in Bentota, renowned for its golden beaches and tranquil ambiance. Embrace the serenity of the sea, swim in the warm waters, or simply relax on the soft sands under the tropical sun.

For a unique and enriching experience, visit the Turtle Hatchery, a key conservation site established by the Wildlife Protection Society in 1981. Here, you can witness the conservation efforts in action as you see newborn hatchlings in tanks and learn about the protection of these majestic sea creatures.

Enhance your day further with a scenic Madhu River boat ride, where you’ll glide through mangrove forests, spot diverse wildlife, and explore the river's lush, serene landscape.

Day 7 : Colombo: A Tapestry of Culture and Modernity

After breakfast, depart for Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling commercial capital. This vibrant city showcases a captivating blend of modern and colonial architecture, reflecting its rich history and diverse cultural influences. Explore the Fort area, where colonial buildings stand alongside contemporary structures, creating a unique urban landscape.

During your city tour, visit iconic sites such as Galle Face Green, a popular promenade, and Viharamahadevi Park, a beautiful green oasis. Admire the Twin World Trade Center towers and the historic Old Parliament Building, and don’t miss the striking Lotus Tower, Independence Square and many more.

For shopping enthusiasts, Colombo offers numerous malls and boutiques. Check out One Galle Face, Arcade Independence Square, and Colombo City Center for a mix of local and international brands at great prices.

As you explore, make sure to visit the Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque, also known as the Red Mosque, one of the oldest and most distinctive mosques in Colombo, showcasing stunning architectural details.
