Overview

Hang Nadim International Airport or also known as Hang Nadim Airport is located in Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia. Named after the legendary firgure, Laksmana Hang Nadim and it is the only airport in Batam Island. The airport receives mainly domestic airlines from Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, Pekanbaru, Jambi, Palembang and Bandung. Airlines serving Batam are Garuda Indonesia, Merpati Nusantara, Mandala Airlines, Lion Air, Indonesia Air Asia, Sriwijaya Air, Batavia Air and other international budget airlines.

Taxis and buses are available from the airport. The travel time for the buses to Batam is from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. GMT+7 with an average fare of Rp 22,000 per passenger. As for the taxis, the fares vary from Rp 70,000 to Rp 165,000 from the airport to Batam as well.
