Overview
This delightful open-air museum located in Osaka showcases a number of traditionally-built authentic Japanese farmhouses brought in from various rural parts of the country. The houses that were constructed during the period of 1700-1900 exhibit the styles and customary characteristics of the areas specific to each house. Early objects such as furniture and tools are on display for viewing and give an interesting glimpse into the lifestyles of its' past inhabitants.
