Overview
The Shin-Kobe Ropeway is a special aerial lift line used by visitors to ascend up the slopes of the Rokko mountain chain. The line passes though a plethora of stunning scenery such as the Nunobiki Waterfall, the Nunobiki Gohonmatsu Dam and the colourful Nunobiki Herb Garden, in addition to spectacular views of the city of Kobe and the Seto Inland Sea in the distance. The Ropeway runs over 1.5 kilometres in the air and ends at the Nunobiki Herb Garden, where over 75,000 herb types are found in a palette of various colours and fragrances. At the top station, visitors may also drop by the observation desk, as well as the cafe, restaurant, souvenir boutique and the Rose Symphony Garden, which offers a delightful variety of roses in full bloom.
Prayer Facilities
Designated prayer room facilities at the Shin-Kobe Ropeway area will be unavailable, but it is possible to enquire the locals for a private area to use during prayer times.
Halal Food
Though there are a few restaurants and cafes at the top station, access to Halal food at Shin-Kobe Ropeway will be limited. Visitors could instead go to one of the Halal restaurants scattered around the city of Kobe.
