Overview
The Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology revives the past and history of the world-renowned Toyota Company and its designs. The museum preserves the old factory area of the birthplace of Toyota where Sakichi Toyoda - the founder of Toyota - first built his Toyoda Automated Loom workshop in 1911. The area showcases new models and innovations by Toyota to the public and features over 4000 exhibits on display. Visitors may also pay a visit to the Textile Machinery Pavilion, the Automobile Pavilion and view the displays of original machinery and equipment that once belonged to Sakichi Toyoda himself. A number of events such as robot shows and exhibitions are held quite frequently at the museum as well.
