Overview

Qinhuai River is a branch of the Yangtze River - the largest river in China and the third largest river in the world. The Qinhuai River stretches across a distance of over 100 kilometres and runs through central Nanjing. The river boasts a rich history and is believed to have nursed the civilization of the region over the years. The scenic river winds its way through many other prominent attractions in the area such as the Zhanyuan Garden, the Confucius Temple, Egret Islet, China Gate and several other historic sites, gardens and natural scenery. The river area is extremely popular amongst locals and travellers too will find that Qinhuai River is an attraction that is worth visiting.

Prayer Facilities

Though designated prayer facilities at Qinhuai River will not be available, plenty of open space will be available in the area to make use of during prayer times. Muslim travellers may also visit a few of the mosques in Nanjing such as the Hanximen Mosque, Jizhaoying Mosque and the Nanjing Caoqiao Mosque - which is the main mosque of the city.

Halal Food

Halal food near Qinhuai River can be found at some of the Halal restaurants in Nanjing. Some of the prominent restaurants in the area include the Punjabi Indian Restaurant and the Maxiangxing Halal Restaurant. However, Muslim travellers will discover that finding Halal food in Nanjing will not prove to be that difficult.
