Overview

Freedom Beach stretches across a length of around 300 metres along Phuket's west coast and is the perfect spot to spend a few hours relaxing under the sun. The beach is enclosed by lush forested hills and jungles, providing a delightfully exotic private ambience for beach lovers. In addition to sun bathing, other popular activities at Freedom Beach include sporting activities such as beach soccer, beach volleyball as well as snorkelling. The beach area itself provides stunning views, with pristine white sand shores and turquoise blue waters creating picture perfect scenery. It may be somewhat difficult to access the beach but nevertheless, a visit to Freedom Beach is highly recommended for beach lovers and travellers who are sight-seeing around the area.

Prayer Facilities

Muslim travellers who require prayer facilities at Freedom Beach will be offered an abundance of private and open space. It is also possible for Muslim travellers to visit some of the mosques in Phuket such as the Ya Me Yah Mosque, KaRul Islam Mosque, Masjid Al Madinah Phuket and Kamala Mosque, which are the most prominent mosques of the city.

Though quite a number of restaurants and eateries will be scattered across the beach area, access to Halal food at Freedom Beach may be limited. For a wide range of Halal food options, Muslim travellers could visit some of the prominent Halal restaurants in Phuket.
