Overview

The Swan Bell Tower is one of the largest change ringing bells in the world, featuring a series of 18 bells hanging from a campanile soaring over 80 metres into the sky. Since its opening in 2000, it has become a popular tourist attraction in Perth due to its very close proximity to the city centre and has received well over a million visitors. In addition to interactive demonstrations that show the art of bell ringing, a visit to Bell Tower also provides visitors an opportunity to ring the bells themselves and listen to its chimes resonating through Perth's city air. An open air observation deck on the 6th floor of the tower also offers some of the best views of Perth's cityscape and Swan River in the distance.

Though designated prayer facilities at Swan Bell Tower will be unavailable for Muslim travellers, plenty of open area will be available near the tower to use during prayer times. Muslim travellers can also visit some of the mosques in Perth such as the Perth Mosque - which is Perth's oldest and most prominent mosque - as well as Perth City Musalla.
