The Exhibitions on Buildings of Two Great Harams is a museum located approximately 10 minutes from the Masjid al Haram by vehicle, and is a must-visit museum when in the city of Makkah. Although not one of the most popular attractions in the city, due to the fact that government permission has to be obtained prior to visiting it, it is definitely well worth the effort. The museum features the historical heritage of Islam and its building is divided into 7 halls, with each hall housing different aspects of Islamic heritage.
