Located approximately 20 kilometers south of Gurgaon, close to the Aravali Hills, is the popular tourist destination, Damdama Lake. Offering a range of fun activities such as boating, hot air ballooning, kayaking, parasailing, fishing, bungee jumping, rock climbing, trekking, camping and more, Damdama Lake offers something for everyone. While these adventure sports facilities require prior bookings to be made, visitors can still have loads of fun at this natural lake, surrounded by the picturesque Aravali Mountains. Popular among locals as well as the tourists as a picnic spot, the tranquil surroundings of the lake is a fantastic place to enjoy a fun day out with family or friends. Since the lakes natural habitat attracts numerous birds to the area, visitors may even spot a few of them while at Damdama Lake.

While Muslim tourists may not find a mosque near the lake they might be able to find a quiet and clean area to offer their prayers nearby. Those spending time at one of the nearby resorts can offer their prayer at the resort. They could also ask the locals or make inquiries at their hotel regarding prayer facilities in the area.

Locating Halal cuisine in any part of India is not difficult. Muslim tourists unable to locate a Halal restaurant can still find numerous vegetarian restaurants spread across its cities. Those visiting Damdama Lake could bring along some food from one of the Halal restaurants in Gurgaon and have a picnic by the lake. There are also sure to be a number of street food vendors located around the lake.
