Crocodile Park

Overview

Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, in Torremolinos is the popular Crocodile Park. Adjoining Aqualand Torremolinos, the Crocodile Park is a family-friendly attraction that is worthy of a visit. The park is home to over 200 crocodiles, some of which are more than 5 metres long. While at the park, visitors will get to tour the African museum, the learning room and a projection room which offers visitors a plethora of facts and information about crocodiles. Visitors will also get to observe the reptiles at less than a 2 metre distance and will be given the opportunity to take a photograph with one of the small crocodiles in the park. For those interested, the park offers guided tours where visitors will get to see the crocodiles being fed, as well as other live demonstrations. The Crocodile Park also has a café, a mini zoo, a kids play area and a gift shop within its premises.

Prayer Facilities

Muslims visiting the Crocodile Park will not be able to find prayer facilities within its premises. There is however a mosque in Torremolinos, known as the Masjid Al Momin. Muslim visitors will also be able to find a few other mosques in the neighboring cities in Malaga. They can either ask to be directed to one of these prayer facilities, or they can find a quiet place in the park to offer their prayers.

Halal Food

The Crocodile Park is known to house a snack bar. Muslim visitors will be able to find vegetarian and seafood dishes here, since the food is sure to not be Halal certified. Muslims visiting Torremolinos will also be able to find a couple of Halal restaurants. Raj Mahal and Tele Shawarma Pizza are a two of the few Halal restaurants in Torremolinos.
