Housing more than 1500 animals of over 200 species from around the world, including ones that are endangered, Zoo Atlanta is a must-visit when in the city. Prayer Facilities
Zoo Atlanta does not offer prayer facilities for Muslim visitors. They can either find a clean and quiet place outdoors to offer their prayers, or they can visit one of the numerous mosques in the city of Atlanta like Masjid Abu Bakr, Masjid Al-Mu'minun or the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam.
Halal Food
There are a couple of permanent and seasonal cafés at Zoo Atlanta. The Wild Planet Café and Flamingo Joe's are open all year round and offer a variety of delicious snacks for kids and adults. Although the food served here will not be Halal certified, Muslim visitors can dine on the seafood and vegetarian options offered.
