Overview
Birmingham's National SEA LIFE Centre takes visitors on a magnificent voyage of the underwater world. Offering so much to do and see, the National SEA LIFE Centre is a great attraction for young and old. While here, visitors will come across a variety of fascinating creatures like sharks, clown fish, sting rays, jelly fish, octopus, eels, turtles, otters and even gentoo penguins. The centre is also home to a 360 Degree Ocean Tunnel surrounded by one million-litres of water housing a variety of sea creatures, as well as over 60 display tanks. For visitors looking to learn more about otters, rays, clownfish, penguins or even the ocean in general, there are talks conducted throughout the day. At the Interactive Rockpool, visitors get to handle a variety of creatures that live in rockpools on the coast, and at the 4D cinema, visitors can watch a fun, educational movie. There are also penguin, shark and turtle feeding that visitors to the National SEA LIFE Centre can experience.
Prayer Facilities
Finding prayer facilities at the National SEA LIFE Centre will not be possible. Muslims visiting the centre will therefore have to make use of the facilities offered at one of the several mosques in the city of Birmingham. Birmingham Central Mosque, Central Mosque Ghamkol Sharif, Madina Masjid and Masjid Muhul Islam Siddiqia are some of the mosques frequented by locals and tourists alike.
Halal Food
It is unclear if visitors to the National SEA LIFE Centre will be able to find any cafés or eateries. Muslims visiting the centre can therefore dine at one of the many Halal restaurants in the city. These restaurants are known to serve a wide selection of cuisines ranging from Indian and Pakistani to Middle Eastern and Italian.
