Overview
The Philippine Eagle Center is one of Davao City's top attractions. A great place to learn about eagles, while relaxing amidst nature in a simulated forest environment, the Philippine Eagle Center is home to 36 Philippine Eagles; one of the world's largest eagles. Getting up close and personal to the nearly extinct Philippine Eagle will prove to be an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. Also found here are a variety of other fascinating birds and animals, including monkeys, bats, reptiles and more. The sanctuary is also a great place for an educational trip as visitors get to learn about environment conservation, interesting facts about the Philippine Eagle, and so on. Those interested in learning more can take a guided tour and sit in on a Keeper Talk.
Prayer Facilities
Finding prayer facilities at the Philippine Eagle Center will not be possible. However since Davao City does have a sizeable Muslim population, finding a mosque in the city will not be too difficult. The Davao City Islamic Center, Piapi Mosque and Buhangin Mosque are a few mosques in Davao City.
Halal Food
It is unclear if the Philippine Eagle Center has a food outlet. For Muslims tourists looking for Halal food, finding a Halal restaurant will not be too difficult. There are quite a number of Halal restaurants spread throughout Davao City. Visitors to the Philippine Eagle Center can therefore ask staff to direct them to the best Halal restaurant nearby if needed.
