Overview
A visit to the Hanoi Night Market when in the city of Hanoi is an absolute must. Running from Dong Xuan Market to Hang Giay Street in the city's Old Quarter, this open air market is not only a great place to find a variety of delicious local dishes and other items, it is also a great spot for people watching, as it has become a social event and is frequented by locals. Visitors to the Hanoi Night Market will be able to find items ranging from clothes and household items to local dishes and sweets and even Vietnamese souvenirs at affordable prices. A popular attraction amongst locals and tourists alike, the Night Market is a one stop shopping destination.
Prayer Facilities
While finding prayer facilities at the Hanoi Night Market will not be possible, the only known mosque in the city of Hanoi is located in the city's Old Quarter; which is where the market is located. Muslims requiring prayer facilities while at the market can therefore ask locals to direct them to this mosque when needed.
Halal Food
As mentioned above, the Hanoi Night Market has a plethora of restaurants and food stalls serving an array of popular local dishes and delicacies. Most of these dining establishments will however not be Halal certified. Muslim tourists can therefore either ask to be guided to a Halal outlet, or they can dine on suitable vegetarian and seafood dishes after ensuring non-Halal items were not used in these dishes.
