Overview
Located about ten minutes away, Cua Dai Beach is the closest beach to Hoi An and is a great place to spend an afternoon or a fun day out with the entire family. The beautiful Cua Dai Beach is one of the five UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Vietnam. The 3 kilometre long beach is covered in fine white powdery sand, and is lined with swaying palm trees. The clear blue water here is calm and therefore ideal for recreational activities like swimming and floating. For those who decide to splash around in the tropical blue water, there are even changing huts on the beach, as well as a few bungalows. The beach is incredibly popular during the summer as well as on holidays. If visiting during this time, tourists will find numerous stands and kiosks selling a variety of delicious fresh seafood and refreshments located around the beach. For those looking to relax and unwind, the beach is usually quiet during the week, and thus it is best to visit then.

Prayer Facilities
Muslim visitors to Hoi An will not be able to find any mosques in the city. They will therefore have to offer their prayers in their hotel rooms, or when visiting Cua Dai Beach, they should easily be able to find a secluded place to pray; especially during weekdays, since the beach does get quite crowded during weekends.
Halal Food
While Muslims visiting Hoi An will not be able to find any Halal restaurants in the city, they will definitely be able to find a number of restaurants and stalls serving a variety of delicious vegetarian and seafood dishes. As mentioned above, there is a number of food stalls located around the beach. Muslim tourists can therefore dine on the fresh seafood items available here.
