Datanla Waterfall

Overview

Located only about 6 kilometres from Da Lat's city center is the Datanla Waterfall. This is one of the most visited waterfalls in Da Lat and is popular amongst locals and foreigners alike. The water at the falls cascades about 20 metres and it is known to have different levels. The entrance is found at the top of the waterfall; the walk from the top to the bottom of the falls takes a few minutes, with pathways passing through stunning lush greenery. While the Datanla Waterfall by itself is quite impressive, there are also a number of other attractions here. Visitors can enjoy a ride on the roller-coaster or the cable car while here. The roller coaster is both; an attraction for thrill seekers, as well as a real transportation system; used to take visitors to and from the bottom of the waterfall. There are also opportunities to abseil, rock climb and raft, at Datanla Waterfall. With so much to do and see, the Datanla Waterfall is a must-visit attraction for families visiting Da Lat.

Prayer Facilities

Finding prayer facilities at the Datanla Waterfall will not be possible. There are also no know mosques in the city of Da Lat. If able to locate a clean and quiet place at the attraction, Muslim tourists could offer their prayer outdoors, or they will have to return to their hotel rooms at prayer times.

Halal Food

Since the Datanla Waterfall is a popular tourist site, visitors will be able to locate a restaurant here. Tourists will be able to find some delicious local dishes and refreshments at this outlet. Muslim tourists will however have to dine on the vegetarian and seafood dishes since non-Halal ingredients are commonly used in local dishes. There are also no known Halal restaurants in Da Lat.
