The impressive Can Tho Musuem, located on Hoa Binh road is a must-visit for tourists looking to learn about the city's history. Spread out across an area of 2,700 square meters, and home to over 5,000 objects and artifacts, the Can Tho Museum offers visitors a glimpse at the story of the city and province. Visitors to the museum will come across displays on the Khmer and Chinese communities, life-size mannequins and reproductions of buildings; including a tea house and a giant pagoda, plant and fish specimens, as well as exhibits on the war; including war photos, a guillotine, and more. There are also exhibits featuring Can Tho's continuous resistance to foreign rule.

Prayer Facilities

The Can Tho Museum is not known to house a prayer room for Muslim visitors. Muslim tourists will also be unable to locate a mosque or Islamic Centre in the city of Can Tho. Muslims visiting the Can Tho Museum will therefore have to return to their hotel rooms at prayer times.
