Dino Beach

Description

Dino Beach is a popular water theme park in the Minhang District and is one of the top attractions in the area during the summer season. It is also the only water theme park in Shanghai and offers an abundance of rides and attractions such as massive wave pools, water slides, lazy rivers as well as kiddies pools to ensure an exhilarating day out with the family. The park is usually packed with locals and tourists alike during the weekends and travellers who wish to avoid large crowds could visit Dino Beach on a weekday, when ticket prices are less expensive. The open season of the park is in summer, generally during the months of mid-June to September.

Prayer Facilities

Though designated prayer room facilities at Dino Beach for Muslim travellers will be unavailable, there will be plenty of private space around the theme park to make use of during prayer times. Muslim travellers may also visit some of the mosques in Minhang, near Dino Beach, such as the Songjiang Mosque in Songjiang, which is the closest mosque to Minhang.

Halal Food

Though plenty of food options will be available at the theme park, access to Halal food at Dino Beach will be limited. Travellers should also keep in mind that bringing outside food to Dino Beach is prohibited. Though there are a few fast food options, ice creams and drinks available at the park, it is recommended that you enquire about how food is prepared prior to purchasing anything. A few vegetarian options may also be available.
