The famous Central Date Market; also known as Souq Al Tumor, is a major attraction among visitors to Medina as Medina dates are known worldwide. Those visiting the market will find over 150 kinds of dates available for sale. Located a short distance away from Masjid al-Nabawi, a visit to the market is highly recommended for those who are interested in getting a selection of the world renowned dates to take back home.
