Bandung is one of Indonesia’s important urban cities surrounded by mountains and a cool climate. The natural landscapes as well as brilliant attractions offer plenty of opportunity for its visit. Tangkuban Perahu Mountain is the primary natural site to venture to! It has nine geothermal craters where visitors often enjoy warm baths, self vulcanic spa, or even just cooking an egg. The most famous and most easily accessible of the craters is Kawah Ratu—it is also the largest one out of the nine!

The city has some beautiful architectural delights like the Villa Isola, Gedung Sate, and Gedung Kembar ITB. There are also some great museums in the city namely the Geological Museum, Pos dan Giro Museum, and the Mandala Rangsit Siliwangi Museum. Bandung also has a beautiful artistic house, The Saung Angklung Udjo, located in the midst of paddy fields. Another marvelous site to enjoy Bandung’s vast greenery is the Gasibu Park!

This city has plenty of cafes and roadside warungs where plenty of locals come to gather. Nearby Airports

Although the Husein Sastranegara airport is the main airport in Bandung, it is limited to some trips only. Frequently, visitors would arrive in Bandung from Jakarta where they can land at the Soekarno-Hatta airport. Afterward, train rides from Gambir Station to Bandung Station are available for everyone who wants to come here! Train tickets can cost from Rp90,000 to Rp150,000 depending on the cargo type. Visitors can travel via taxis, taxibikes, “angkot”, and also buses within the city!
