Jakarta is served by the Soekarno Hatta International Airport. The airport is placed around 20 km from the city center. The best way to get to one’s destination is by requesting the hotel for an airport pickup. Taxis are also available from the airport to the city. Depending on the taxi service and type of car availed, a ride to Central Jakarta can cost anywhere from Rp 70,000 to Rp 120,000. There is also a regular shuttle bus service that travels from the airport to the city. The cost of ticket ranges depending on the destination.
