Chawan Restaurant is a local Malaysian brand of restaurants. Customers can get Halal food for reasonable price here. Both the food and the place are hygienic and very clean. The menu lists a good number of Malaysian dishes and a long list of local coffees. This Halal friendly restaurant in Malaysia is a partial-opened-space restaurant. One popular coffee is Kopi Kemaman which is the Terengganu all time classic signature coffee. It is buttery brewed with a subtle cocoa flavour and milk. The menu is typical kopitiam fare - a mix of Malaysian favourites from North to South. There's mee rebus, Nasi Briyani - traditional favourites from the Sorth. Lurking from the North is Nasi Dagang with tongkol ikan curry. There's also Assam Laksa, Ipoh Kuey Teow and the perennial favourite, Nasi Lemak. For breakfast, food is much lighter with bread and snacks. The restaurant is open from 8am onwards till late. Parking available opposite the mosque at a lower price. Alcohol-free environment.  Wi-Fi available.
