1st Destination
The weather was less humid compared to Singapore and the traffic flow was friendly when we were off to "Rumah Kari" for our breakfast + lunch. We arrived safely within 45 minutes and we were ushered to our dining tables. The owner of the restaurant cooked the dishes and humbly introduced her delicacies to us before we attacked the buffet like pirahna tap yang beradat padat version hahaha!
We had beef rendang , chicken sambal, paradise briyani , tandoori in pockets , shrimp maya curry, mandarin vegetables, salted chicken curry, a fruit platter and fruit lassi.
My favourite was the salted chicken curry. The taste was uniquely sedap! Air tangan chef tu mmg baik skali.
After taking photos and chit-chatting we went to the mosque to perform our zohor prayer and we hand-braked at ABREEZA mall.
There was still some space in our stomachs for the "Habi at Kape" cafe located at the mall. We tasted their signature gourmet Tuyo (dried fish) Pasta , Adobo Pandesal (chicken sandwich), Pinoy Biko (rice cake) and everything was complimented very well with the watermelon juice that I had.
We then proceeded to our "limosine" (mini bus) and headed to SY Lanang Premier mall.
We met two SMX convention center Sales managers and we went for a shot tour with them as they explained their company, what they can propose to potential clients wanting to get married and having their ceremony in the convention centre or even birthday parties, concert and many more.
After that the tour guide let us loose so we could roam around the shopping centre. Finally I found something that I liked. Just a short-sleeved shirt. I don't think I would be able to find it in Singapore - which is why I wanted to buy it. So kalau kawan tanya "baju lawa wan!" I can just reply "beli kat Davao bro! lawa kan?? #Kau ada?" hahahha!!
Jalan2 for like 1 hour and a half. Kaki da bikin prangai da start sakit..prangai mcm org2 tua padahal mase muda..ah tula..asyik makan je kn..jalan sikit da penat..hahaha!
Surprisingly I started to feel hungry and it was then that we went to Marina Tuna to have our dinner. It was a great experience to try 10-way tuna! Everything on the table was tuna. My wife's face also looked like tuna hahhaha!!
PS: ni kalau isteri aku baca mmg tido luar aku.Main2 je la..Sayang awak!!
We had raw, fried, grilled and every cooking style that you can think of..Everything was there! So we dug in and sadly we couldn't finish it because it was too much. Everything was so Tunalicious! Tk bohong beb! If only I was a big eater, we wouldn't have wasted the food.
And that is all for today as we are going back to our hotel room and have an early rest for tomorrow activities!
