It's already the 4th day today. Time flies soooo fast here when we are having fun! We woke up pretty early for early check out and headed down to the pier to take our ferry to Cebu.
After a two hour journey from Bohol to Cebu, we finally reached Cebu. It was even hotter here in Cebu than in Bohol and Manila! So first stop: LUNCH! We didn't get the chance to grab our quick breakfast as we were too sleepy and tired to wake up early.
So what did we have at the restaurant? We had Tandoori slash Indian Cuisine which was only 5-7 mins away from the Cebu airport. Had Asian taste like finally! Nasi Goreng Ayam! Yay!! We headed down to Al Khairiyah Mosque there to see what their mosque actually looked like. It was small and not too sophisticated, like the ones we have in Singapore.
We stopped by at the Mango Factory, to see how they actually produced the dried mangoes – from day 1 to the end of the export process. It takes about 5-7 days from the process of importing the mangoes to the end of the product. Profood actually served the same mangoes for Cebu dried mangoes brand and also the other brand. Its the same, only different branding. Apart from that, Profood also does drying of other fruits such as coconuts, guava, bananas and other fruits. Not only do they do dried fruits, they also do fruit purees, fruit jams and also canned drinks!
It was a really interesting and tempting experience to watch how the actual product was done. The tour lasted for about an hour. We couldn't take it any longer then; we decided to check in to Crimson Resorts & Spa. OH MY MY MY MY! I am really in love with this place! They really go to the extra mile to serve us! They are even more friendlier than every Filipino you know! They are so so so welcoming and polite. I literally felt like I was in paradise!
The room guys! Masya Allah! I was really thankful to be part of this trip! The room was top notch and really perfect. Every little detail and item in the room was perfect! We even had our own private pool. Yes, you read that right! PRIVATE POOL. IN. THE. VILLA. How amazing that can be?! It is really highly recommended for those couples who want to go Cebu for their honeymoon – as well as also families! The villa is perfect for 4 people or more I bet!
This has got to be the best of the best stay ever in Philippines and we also had a super fantastic dinner by the beach. Watching the sun set right before us, as we got served by them. The chef was really creative in mixing a number of tastes into one dish. For example we had Salmon cooked in wasabi together with another sauce that was really really bombastic!
It was a wonderful night! Really, a night to remember. How I wish that we were here not only for a night. Wished that our trip was longer than this! But sadly, good things only happen once. I don't think I'm gonna sleep tonight – I want to enjoy every last bit that I can in this Villa!
