Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) is the Airport of the city Bengaluru formerly Bangalore in the state of Karnataka. It was awarded the best airport of India in 2011. The Airport consist of a 4 storeyed building spread across 900, 000 sq.ft. It has both the international and domestic Terminals in the same building for ease of operation. There is also a seperate Hajj Terminal for the Hajj Pilgrims which can accomodate 600 passengers at a time. In this Hajj Terminal there are seperate prayer room facilities for men and women with seperate hot water wudhu making area. Vegetarian restaurants and food kiosk are found inside the airport. There are duty free, gifting shops present inside the airport where one can shop at. There are also various airlines and business lounges where you can sit and relax and wait for your flight. The airport is building a luxury hotel which is underway.

There are taxi and car rental services available from the airport. There are also special buses called vayu vajra provided by the Bangalore metropolitan transport corporation which goes to various parts of the city. This Bus Service is available 24/7.
