Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport  is an airport located in Detroit, Michigan, USA. The airport is also known as Detroit metro airport. The airport is featured in the top 30 international airport in the world.

There are 2 Terminals in the Airport. The Mc Namara Terminal and the Nothern Terminal

Mc Namara Terminal: Mc Namara Terminal is divided into 3 concourse namely A, B, C

Concourse A: Concourse A has 64 gates with 12 gates used for International processings.

Concourse B & C: Concourse B & C has 58 gate.

All the Concourses are Interlinked and there is an Express Tram available to transport the passengers from one end of the Terminal to another.

The Nothern Terminal: The Nothern Terminal has Concourse D with 26 gates.

Prayer Facilities

There is a Religious Reflection Room located within Mc Namara Terminal, Level 3. The Room is marked with North, South, East, West direction on the walls. There is also a compass attached to the carpet along with some prayer mats around the corner

Halal Food

Halal food availibility is not known. However, there are ample cafe's, bakeries and food outlets where you can find vegetarian options.

Transport

The airport is located 20 miles outside the city of Detroit. There are DTW Shuttle, metro cars, hotel shuttles, Buses to take you to the city and other imortant places. There are also many car rental services available from the airport. You can also hire a taxi cab to take you to your destination

Shopping

There are alot of shops and restaurant spread throughout the airport in both the Terminals. In all Terminals you will surely find a vegetarian outlet and ample cafe's. You will also find shops of bookstores, newspapers, gift shops, souvenirs, cosmetics, perfumes, chocolates etc, There are Duty free shop in Mc Namara Terminal where you can shop and get good deals.
