Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport&nbspis the airport located in Ahmadabad, Iran. It is one of the two international operating airports in Tehran. Ahmadabad is 1 hour drive from Tehran. It was made to replace Mehrabad International Airport. It is named in honour of Ruhollah Khomeini.

The airport has 1 Terminal which is divided into 2 concourses.

Those who want to travel in Iran via domestic flight have to take a shuttle bus to Mehrabad Airport.

There are 3 Muslim prayer room within the airport. One is located in the departure hall, the other &nbsplocated on the way between the two concourses and the third located in the arrival hall of the airport. The prayer room is opened for 24 hours.
