Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) also known as Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix is the airport serving the capital city Oranjestad of Aruba. The airport has been named after the Queen of Netherlands, which is Aruba's head of state.

The airport has 1 Terminal with ground floor and first floor.

There are Gates numbered 1-8 and A & B.

For US bound flights gate no 5, 6, 7 & 8 are used.

For other flights gate no: 1, 2, 3, 4, A & B are used

The International Departure Area is located to the left of the Arrivals Hall.

There is a meditation room within the airport on the 1st floor opposite to Gate no: 2, adjacent to the VIP lounges for Non US passengers.

Halal Food

There are no known Halal restaurant within the airport but there are many cafe's and restaurant  at various places within the airport with vegetarian and seafood options.

Transport

There are public transportation buses available just from outside the airport that would take you to the heart of the city.

There are also car rental agencies available at the airport where you can rent a car.

You can also hire a taxi to take you to your destination.

There are some shops all around the airport. You can find duty free shops, books stores, accessories, sun glasses, cosmetics, perfumes, souvenirs and etc within the airport.
