Description

A must for visitors to Galway is a relaxing cruise on the Corrib Princess. This 90 minute cruise takes visitors along the majestic River Corrib and onto the Lough Corrib, and past numerous natural attractions and historic monuments. Being the second largest lake in Ireland, as well as its most spectacular waterway, Lough Corrib offers much to do and see. Those onboard the 157 passenger boat will be introduced to all the points of interest along the spectacular waterway. Apart from castles and historical sites, there are also natural attractions to be enjoyed. The cruise departs from Woodquay in Galway city.

Prayer Facilities

ile the Corrib Princess will not have prayer facilities, Muslims taking the cruise may be able to find a clean and quiet area on the boat to offer their prayers. They could also make use of the facilities offered at one of the few mosques in the city of Galway, such as the Galway Mosque.  

Halal Food

The Corrib Princess has a bar which Muslims should avoid. Those taking the cruise could take along some snacks, or they could visit one of the few Halal restaurants in Galway city, after the 90 minute cruise. When dining at a non-Halal local restaurant, Muslim tourists must make sure the vegetarian or seafood dishes they order does not contain any non-Halal ingredients.
