Among Banjarmasin's iconic city centers is the Lok Baintan Floating Market! Plenty of handicrafts, local cuisine, fresh produce, and many more are sold at the market! The market itself dates back to the 1500s. It is preserved as one of Indonesia’s heritage. Visitors can rent a klotok or jukung (boats) to board along the river which will cost around Rp350,000—Pp400,000 per boat.
