Svolvær is a port town located on the Austvågøya Island which is a part of the Lofoten archipelago in the Nordland County of Norway. Svolvær is quite small and can be explored on foot, but also quite busy, and offers visitors a number of attractions. Svolvær is surrounded by lots of natural beauty and visitors can easily explore the natural surroundings.

There are several cruises and boat trips available from Svolvær that take people around the area. In the olden times, Svolvær was a simple fishing village and today is a picturesque town with a thriving arts scene.
