Have A Memorable Stay At These 12 Cool and Trendy Places In Singapore!

There are plenty of cool, trendy and fresh places for a staycation in Singapore. Below are recommendations that fit the theme, some being more Muslim-friendly than others - so do weigh your options carefully such as factoring proximity to the mosque and Halal eateries in the area.

We arranged these unique accommodations (hotels, hostels and glamping option) by location for your ease of planning.

Here's Why The Great Madras Should Be Your Next Staycation Spot

The City

1) Lloyd's Inn

Lloyd’s Inn used to be a popular budget hotel more than twenty decades ago, but since the makeover and rebranding a few years back, it’s now a sought-after trendy and chic choice of staycation.

With minimalist and clean look, this boutique hotel immediately charms you. If you want an escape yet still feel connected to the city, it is the perfect option thanks to its location - in one of the inner-city residential area.

The main minus point is perhaps there’s no in-house F&B but certainly not the biggest drawbacks since there are plenty of eateries nearby such as the Halal nasi padang, Warung M.Nasir as well as supermarket.

For breakfast (which is included in the room rate), you can redeem the vouchers provided at the nearby cafes - Freshly Baked and Killiney Kopitiam.

You can also utilise its common outdoor pantry where microwaves, vending machines along with tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

Choose one of the sleek, white-themed rooms and create your own spa experience in the semi-open toilet and shower space. There is a roof terrace, wading pool (not for swimming though) and a garden to savour outdoor moments in this oasis.
