Ashhadu Alla Ilaha Illallah Dhikr Transliteration

Ash-hadu alla ilaha illallah wahdahu laa shariika lahu wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuuluhu

I testify that there is no god but Allah, there is no associate with Him and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.

Importance and Why You Should Recite The Dhikr

This dhikr is one of the most significant dhikr in Islam while representing the fundamental concept of Islam. The dhikr/phrase is usually known or called the shahada (a testament to faith). The dhikr represents a fundamental concept of Islam as one of the five pillars.

Its significance is also shown in our daily activities and prayers as it is recited multiple times during the day. Every Muslim on earth would recite them during their obligatory five prayers, as a form of prayer (dhikr), and recited on their daily duas such as during ablution or wudu. People who are also converting into a Muslim must also recite and understand this phrase.
