Dates are a popular dried fruit in Dubai and many other Middle-Eastern countries. So, purchasing dates will not be a hardship. Dates are available in all supermarkets (pre-packed and easy to transports) as well as in the Deira Food Market (for fresh dates). 

However, to enjoy some premium quality and gourmet dates, visit the Bateel company outlets. Bateel also processes dates into special products such as date bars and stuffed dates, that must be tasted at least once. And remember, due to their nutritious nature, dates make a healthy gifting option for just about anyone!
