Satay World was established in 2006 in Singapore. It all started when Pak Atan, who was a veteran in satay making back in the 60's. He had learnt the trade and inherited a secret recipe passed down by his uncle from Javanese who had made satay back in the 50's in Kangpong Glam, Singapore. Under the guidance of Pak Atan, a new and revolutionary satay flavour was born. Satay Kajang has now become very popular in Singapore. Satay Kajang Singapore is now available in New Zealand under the name New Zealand Malay Satay Ltd. This satay is manufactured in New Zealand by a panel of experienced Satay specialists with the same secret revolutionary recipe, passed down by Pak Atan.
