Phnom Penh International Airport

Description

The Phnom Penh International Airport is the main and the largest airport in Cambodia. It is located about 10Km from the city. The airport has two terminals the Passenger Terminal, that has International and Domestic Terminals and the VIP Terminal. The terminals are within walking reach of each other and are equipped with good facilities.

Prayer Facilities

There are 2 Multi-faith prayer rooms within the airport. One is  located at the public area on the  ground floor and  the other at the international departure hall on the mezzanine floor.

Halal Food

There are a few restaurants and cafes at the airport however, halal dining is not available at the airport.

The International Departures section has:

• The Deli Paris that serves French pastries and coffees
• Taste of Asia offers noodles and Malaysian curry

There is also a pizza outlet in the Public Concourse of the departure area.

The Public Concourse of the arrivals area has a coffee shop, the Caf?? Fresco.

Transport

There are a few car rental companies operating at the airport in the Arrivals area on the ground floor.

Taxis and tuk-tuks are available at the airport. Travellers can get pre-paid taxis at the international and domestic  Arrivals on the ground floor. Ideally taxis can cost up to KHR36 and the journey usually takes between 30 and 50 minutes.

Shopping

Travellers can find a range of high-end retail outlets at the Phnom Penh International Airport.

Dufry Cambodia is a duty-free store located at the Boarding Gate 8.

Fashion and accessory shops like Ambre Boutique and the EZI Wear & Travel are located at the Boarding Gate 5.

There is a Book & Toys store at Boarding Gate 7

There is also a souvenir shop at the Boarding Gate 5.
