  Marine World Umino-Nakamichi located within the sprawling Umino-Nakamichi Seaside Park is an aquarium that focuses on the aquatic life found around Kyushu. Tourists visiting this aquarium will be able to fully appreciate the marine life found in the region since it features a number of tanks housing a variety of sea creatures. While the largest tank holds the dolphin and sea lion shows, the panoramic tank is the highlight of a visit to this aquarium. This tank houses over 10000 fish of 80 different species, including 120 sharks. With over 70 tanks of different sizes, including an outdoor whale pool, visitors will have plenty of marine life to take in while here. Aside from the popular dolphin and sea lion show, the aqua live show at the panoramic tank, where guests get an up close look at a variety of marine creatures, is highly recommended. Those with reservations can even scuba dive in this tank and swim with all the fish under the guidance of an instructor.

Prayer Facilities

Muslims visiting Marine World Umino-Nakamichi will not be able to find prayer facilities at the attraction. They will however be able to use the facilities offered at the Fukuoka Masjid when needed. Those unable to visit the mosque might be able to find a secluded area within the aquarium to offer their prayers.  

Halal Food

Although Marine World Umino-Nakamichi houses a few restaurants, these outlets are not known to be Halal certified. Muslim tourists choosing to dine here could order suitable vegetarian or seafood dishes, others preferring to eat at Halal certified outlets have a number of restaurants in Fukuoka city to choose from.
