The Marina offers great views of the glistening water and luxury yachts, and is packed with an array of fantastic seafront seafood restaurants. Visitors will be able to hire a boat here for dolphin, turtle, sea lion, and whale spotting expeditions. They will also find facilities here to scuba and deep-sea dive. The Marina attracts locals and tourists alike, making it a great place to people watch and to interact with others. Those visiting Marina Funchal may even get the chance to see large cruise ships, such as the magnificent Queen May II here.

Prayer Facilities

Finding prayer facilities at Marina Funchal will not be possible. Muslim tourists may however be able to locate a secluded area outdoors to offer their prayers. If unable to do so, since there are no know mosques or Islamic Centres in the city of Funchal, they will have to return to their hotel rooms at prayer times.

Halal Food

As mentioned above, Marina Funchal has a fantastic selection of superb seafood restaurants and cafés. While these dining establishments will also serve dishes with non-Halal ingredients, Muslim tourists could dine on suitable seafood and vegetarian dishes offered here, as there are no known Halal restaurants in the city of Funchal.
