The largest performing fountain system in the world - The Dubai Fountain - is a prominent landmark of the city as well as a much visited tourist attraction in Dubai. Located on the Burj Khalifa Lake that spans an area of 30 acres, the fountain stretches 900 feet in length and features a series of circles and central arches. It is stunningly illuminated by a total of over 6,000 lights and 25 coloured projectors, to create a breathtaking view. The water jets of the fountain can shoot up to a height of 500 feet into the air and is accompanied by soft classical music, offering a truly enchanting ambience. The fountain is located right outside the Dubai Mall area and is in close proximity to a wealth of shopping opportunities.

Afternoon performances take place daily at 1:00 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. while evening shows take place daily at 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (every 30 minutes)

Prayer facilities near the Dubai Fountain will be readily available. There are quite a number of mosques near Dubai Fountain including the Jumeirah Mosque and the Ramadaan Juma Mosque which are located a short distance away. A private area in the vicinity of the fountain can also be made use of during prayer times.

Finding Halal food near Dubai Fountain will never be a problem.  Halal restaurants near Dubai Fountain include Nando's Burj Khalifa, Al Hallab Restaurant, Thiptara, Baker & Spice and Leila Restaurant which are all located a short distance away. The Dubai Mall area in particular is home to a large number of eateries and Halal restaurants.
